con TAK is a branch of Tak Tent Cancer Support Scotland
and is entirely for young people affected by cancer. They may be patients,
relatives or friends.
The group consists of young adults over the age of 16 with experience
of a wide range of cancers.
Services
con TAK offer counselling and complementary therapy but consider the key
part of the group to be the company, friendship, socialising, understanding
and support with other young people who are facing a similar situation.
As well as meeting every 2 weeks for get togethers, nights out, weekend
breaks and fundraising activities, con TAK also offer one 2 one meetings
if you need to talk.
