Money Matters
South Lanarkshire Council has developed a service designed
to assist residents who need advice on a range of issues. These include
advice on benefits entitlement, assistance with form filling, representation,
help with money problems such as fuel debts, credit / HP payments, rent,
redundancy or council tax arrears.
We also provide Benefit Checks
Some people already receiving benefit, who are in work, or have retired,
do not claim all of the benefits they are entitled to receive. Staff
in the Money Matters Advice Service can check whether or not additional
benefit should be claimed.

Appointments can be made by phoning or calling into one of the offices
listed below. A home visit can sometimes be arranged for people
who have difficulty getting to an office.
